A: Samples are received from 8:00am to 6:00pm. GCAL operates seven days a week maintains on-call personnel 24 hours each day 365 days a year. Additional fees may apply to after hour requests.

A: Faxed results are available in 7 working days. Hardcopy reports will be delivered within 14 days. Extended deliverable reports are delivered in 28 days.

Q: What is the difference in a standard LIMS report format and a full data validation package (level 4)?
A: A level 4 package contains all raw data (instrument chromatograms and other instrument printouts) along with the results package. This information is not included in the standard LIMS package.

A: This is a common problem and one where proper communication before your samples are logged in would solve the issue. For any project involving RECAP, NPDES, RCRA. It is very important that the laboratory know the regulatory requirements of the project. This will enable the lab to give you not only the appropriate detection limits, but also the right list of analytes reported and the correct methodology. |
